HOTEL: By popular demand, in conjunction with The Best of Times Ski Club, we’ll return to the Marriott at Lionshead, an easy walk to the gondola. There’s a breakfast room, a new (as of last year) restaurant, bar, ski shop, swimming pool, indoor/outdoor hot tubs, full service spa, ski and boot storage, and transportation of skis to and from the base of the mountain. Two types of rooms are available, each with granite bathroom with seamless glass shower and soaking tub: Lodge room with two double beds; Studio King Suite with king-sized bed, kitchenette (microwave, sink), fireplace and sitting area. All rooms have TV, coffee maker, complimentary tea and coffee, hair dryer, humidifier, safe, small refrigerator, iron and robes. Valet parking is $28/night and the free local bus stops in front of the hotel. Breakfast buffet is $15 per person (excluding gratuity),
and we have a 20% discount for dinners at the Marriott’s 7One5 restaurant,
excluding alcohol. Complimentary après
ski snacks and beverages are offered in the lobby every afternoon from 3 to 5
p.m. The hotel will accept and store luggage/skis shipped ahead at no charge
but requests that they arrive no earlier than three days before your arrival. COST: Lodge Room $780, double occupancy; single, $1480 Studio King Suite $910 double; single, $1725 Price includes all taxes, bellman tips arriving and departing, three happy hours, and four-course farewell dinner at the Left Bank Restaurant in Vail Village.
